Put your phone by the bed and Nefesly listens through the night; in the morning it tells you in plain words about snoring and the moments breathing was not heard. For questions, ideas or problems write to destek@nefesly.app. We usually reply within a few days.
Where should I put the phone?
On the side of the bed of the person you want to hear, no more than 30 cm from their head, with the microphone uncovered. Keeping it on the charger helps.
How do I start the night?
Tap Start in Nefesly, lock your phone and put it on the nightstand. Nothing else to set up; if the recording doesn't start, your phone tells you right away.
You can also start without unlocking:
- iPhone: open Control Center, tap edit and add "Start night". You can also put it on the Lock Screen or the Action button.
- iPhone, automatically: Shortcuts > Automation > Sleep > When turning on > Nefesly "Start night" and "Run Immediately". The night starts when Sleep Focus turns on.
- Android: edit Quick Settings and add the "Start night" tile.
- Apple Watch: with Nefesly open on your phone, tap Start on the watch. To wake up on your wrist, turn on Nefesly in the watch's Settings > General > Background App Refresh.
The morning said "could not be assessed". Why?
If the recording was too short, the phone was too far, the room was noisy or the recording stopped, Nefesly does not make up numbers. The morning letter says why and what you can try next time.
Can I record my partner?
Tell them first and get their consent. If you answer "Partner" to "Who's in the room?" in the evening, the morning summary takes into account that the snoring may come from either of you.
How do I delete my recordings?
Delete a single night from its page, or everything with "Delete everything" in Settings. You also choose in Settings how many days audio is kept.
I changed phones. Where are my nights?
For privacy, night recordings are not backed up and do not move to a new phone. Save the nights you want to take to a specialist as a PDF first.
Does Nefesly diagnose anything?
No. Nefesly is not a medical device. Results are given in the language of probability and one night of recording is not a firm verdict. If you are worried about your sleep or breathing, talk to a doctor; the list of sleep centres and the specialist summary in the app can help with that conversation.
